Course Info:
Training Course Experts are now providing a blended learning design (embedding theory and practical components) to maximise your learning experience by giving you comprehensive pre-course online material that is applied within the classroom. We have created a detailed online learner guide which includes the requirements of Australian Standards for working safely in confined space for you to study at your own pace. This will ensure you learn the necessary skills and gain the confidence you need to enter and work in confined space prior to undertaking the practical face-to-face component of the course on our site.

What to bring:
1 x form of photo ID or 2 x forms of secondary ID (e.g. Medicare, ATM, or Health Care Card) and a pen.  Please wear enclosed shoes (i.e. no sandals or thongs) and long pants.
All the theory components will be covered in an online learning module which will take approximately five hours to complete. Upon enrolment in the course, you will be sent a link to the online modules to complete. You are required to complete the online modules at least two working days prior to undertaking the face-to-face component of the course. For assessment details, Click Here 
Reasonable Adjustment:
Participants with learning difficulties may apply to conduct an oral theory assessment or be accompanied by a translator at their own cost. Where necessary participants may request extended time to complete their learning and assessment.

Participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (certificate) for the unit of competency RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces, from the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package.  Participants also receive a wallet sized card nominating the completed course details.
No set validity period but industry standards recommend re-certification of your confined space ticket every 2 years.  You will be sent a course reminder email 30 days prior to the recommended re-certification date.

Eligible participants, working in the construction industry can apply for a subsidy of up to 70% of the course fee directly from the Construction Training Fund upon completion of this course.
