Course Details:
Training Course Experts are now providing a blended learning design (embedding theory and practical components) to maximise your learning experience by giving you comprehensive pre-course online material that is applied within the classroom. We have created a detailed online learner guide which includes the requirements of Australian Standards for operating a boom-type elevating work platform for you to study at your own pace. This will ensure you learn the necessary skills and gain the confidence you need prior to undertaking the second phase theory assessment and practical assessment face-to-face on our site.
The 2 day EWP training course comprises a written theory assessment (in English), followed by practical training and assessment.
Participants need a strong command of the English language to successfully complete the written and practical components of this course.  Before you enrol, ensure you review the detailed course instructions, Click Here
Note: Due to changes in WorkSafe's assessment process, there is a MANDATORY pre-reading component (of approximately 2 hours) that needs to be completed before sitting this course, this is the online component of the course completed at your own pace. Students who have not completed the necessary pre-course study will need to reschedule to an alternate date, at a cost of 50% of the course fee.
Upon successful completion, participants are issued with a temporary paper licence (valid for 60 days), within which time, participants need to apply to WorkSafe for their nationally recognised photo ID licence and pay an additional fee of $100.00.
