The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends updating this CPR qualification every 12 months. 

Note:  This CPR Training Course can only be booked over the telephone 9225 5122 or in person and cannot be booked online.

You will require a USI prior to obtaining the Statement of Attainment. 

You can create your USI at http://usi.gov.au/create-your-USI/Pages/default.aspx it only takes 5 minutes. Please bring your USI with you when you attend your training course.

Course Details:

What to Bring:
1 x form of photo ID or 2 x forms of secondary ID (e.g. Medicare, ATM, or Health Care Card) and a pen.
Please ensure that you wear enclosed shoes (i.e. no sandals or thongs) and wear either shorts or long pants (bearing in mind that you will need to kneel on the floor to perform CPR).
   
Assessment:

Reasonable Adjustment:
Participants with learning difficulties may apply to conduct an oral theory assessment or be accompanied by a translator at their own cost.  Where necessary participants may request extended time to complete their learning and assessment.

Qualification:
Participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (certificate) for the unit of competency, HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation from the Health Training Package.  Participants also receive a wallet sized card nominating the completed course details.
 
 
Validity:
The Australian Resuscitation Council recommend that CPR training course qualifications are refreshed every 12 months.

Rebates:
Eligible participants, working in the construction industry can apply for a subsidy of up to 70% of their course fee directly from the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (BCITF) upon completion of this course.  We can provide you with the application form on the day of your course.
