What to Bring: | 1 x form of photo ID or 2 x forms of secondary ID (e.g. Medicare, ATM, or Health Care Card), a pen and your completed pre-reading. Please ensure that you wear enclosed shoes (i.e. no sandals or thongs) and wear either shorts or long pants (bearing in mind that you will need to kneel on the floor to perform CPR). |

Pre-requisites: | Mandatory online learning is to be undertaken before arriving for your scheduled class time which must be presented at check-in. You will be asked to certify that you have completed the Learner Guide. Please ensure you inform your trainer if you have not done so. |

Reasonable Adjustment: | Participants with learning difficulties may apply to conduct an oral theory assessment or be accompanied by a translator at their own cost. Where necessary participants may request extended time to complete their learning and assessment. |

Qualification: | Participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (certificate) for the unit of competency, HLTAID003 Provide first aid, which also includes HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, from the Health Training Package. Participants also receive a wallet sized card nominating the completed course details. |

Validity: | Your first aid certificate is valid for 3 years, but it is recommended that the CPR training component is refreshed every 12 months. We also offer a first aid refresher course for those interested. |

Rebates: | Eligible participants, working in the construction industry can apply for a subsidy of up to 70% of their course fee directly from the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund upon completion of this course. |
